KB1303 - Applying a cut-off date to an H5P activity

Sometimes an instructor may wish to create a graded H5P activity that has a due date, after which new attempts are not allowed.

To do this in Moodle, follow these steps:

  1. Create your H5P activity as usual. In the settings, under Restrict Access select Add restriction:

     
  2. Select Date:

     
  3. Select Until and choose a cut off date:

     
  4. Click Save. You will be returned to main course page.
    Now the H5P will only be available for students until the cut off date.
    After that date has passed, students will see this message in the main course page, and won’t be able to open the H5P activity any longer:​​​​​​​
