KB1024 - Using the Scheduler Activity to Book Sessions

Moodle's Scheduler module helps you to schedule one-on-one appointments with all your students. You specify the periods during which you are available to see the students and the length of each appointment. The students can then book themselves into one of the available timeslots. The module also lets you record the attendance and grade the appointment.

These booking times could be used to schedule in-person meetings, or for live online meetings using a web conferencing platform like Zoom.

Automatic Alerts and Reminders from Moodle

Students and Teachers will receive automatic emails from Moodle about a session being booked by a Student, or if the status or availability of the booking changes.
