In Moodle, a page resource displays content created by the instructor. A Page can contain text, images, audio or video media, or hyperlinks to other web pages.
For smaller amounts of information, a Page is preferable to uploading a file (like a Word or PDF document) since the end-user won't need to download anything to their computer to view the information - they just click the Page link and can read the information immediately in their browser.
