Calculated Questions allow you to create a unique challenge for each Student, using a common formula or procedure in your Moodle quiz.
You define the statement or proposition for the question, using placeholders (called "wildcards" in Moodle).
Each Student attempt at the quiz will give different values for each calculated question, from a database of wildcard values that you have predefined.
This provides mathematically unique challenges for each Student, according to your parameters.
