The Dates plugin is another very useful plugin developed and maintained by Moodler Tim Hunt. (Tim is the developer for many of the plugins used in VCC Moodle.)
This 'report' is actually a tool that lets you edit all the dates for all the activities in your course on a single page. This is particularly useful after your course shell has been copied over for a new term and you want to check and/or change all of your assignment due dates and anything else that is date-dependent in your course. The report allows you to filter by different activities. DON'T FORGET TO SAVE before changing your filters, though. (See images, below)
Once the plugin is installed, you can access the functionality by going to More -> Course administration -> Reports -> Dates under the Action menu of your course.
Known Issues:
Be aware that there are currently a couple of known issues:
- Does not currently support standard wiki (only OU Wiki).
- There seems to be an issue with editing the Allow access from / to and Expected completed dates, although there is supposed to be code in there to make that work.
