In Moodle, Lessons are ideal for formative or practice scenarios, where multiple attempts are allowed, and mistakes are part of the learning process. The Lesson activity also provides more control over grading and the number of Student attempts (making it better for Summative assessment than H5P's Branching Scenario activity).
The Lesson activity lets instructors create branching exercises, where students are presented with varying content depending on their responses to questions or prompts.
Based upon how true/false or multi-choice questions are answered, Students may go to different pages in the lesson. This allows the Instructor to create branches or "loops" with rich feedback, to help the Student learn from a wrong answer and then try again.
