KB1013 - About the Comments Block

The Comments block can be added to any page to allow users to voice their opinions almost anywhere in Moodle.

• Can be used teacher-teacher, student-teacher, or student-student
• Adds a social networking element to the learning environment as comments can be added to forums, blogs, wikis, etc.
• Can be used for student feedback for course revisions - students can comment on the usefulness of a resource

Permissions can be altered to only allow teachers to use Comment block to share notes in and about specific course pages or to moderate discussions in the grade book.
